All About SIPS

We use structural insulating panels (SIPs) for all exterior walls and roofs - not some of the cheaper and/or more labor intensive options - providing you with stronger walls and roof, and an easier system to install and finish.

The SIP (Structural Insulating Panel) enclosure system is designed for the optimum ratio of cost to R-value.

SIPs are the secret to making the most comfortable and energy efficient interior environment.

We include 1/2" blue-board (a better grade of drywall) or timber faced SIPS for application to the exterior of the timber frame, prior to the installation of the SIPs. This is the most cost effective way to enclose a timber frame.

Exterior windows and doors are designed to provide ideal access, egress, outside light and views. We use quality windows, french doors and doors - some of the best products available. Importantly, these offerings are readily available throughout North America in case you want to make changes to your timber frame home in the future.
