Objective & Purpose. Pan Abode's objective is to create a Building Package that fits each individual customer's architectural and budget requirements. Therefore, you are free to substitute our standard material specifications with almost any materials commonly used in building the structure. However, in order to establish a common ground by which a customer may compare our prices and understand what is included in our Building Package, we have developed the following Material Specifications. Included are high quality materials that meet the structural requirements of our Building Systems, while also providing the best value.

Price Estimate Flexibility. You may mix and match between our Building Systems or specify entirely different material than included in our "Standard Material Specifications". Using the Let's Get Started" form (included with the Idea Book), we will provide you with your specific Custom Building Package price.

Free Materials Consulting Service. We will assist you in selecting any of the materials for your custom home. For example, if you ask and provide climate information on your building location, we will advise you how much insulation is most cost effective for various components of your home. Although Vinyl Windows are our standard (based on the fact that 47% of all windows sold in the U.S. are Vinyl), we offer most manufactured lines of Windows for you to choose from. This same concept applies to Exterior Siding, Doors, Interior and Exterior Trim, Roof Systems, etc.

Other Items & Materials Available. Also available through Pan Abode are Sun Rooms, Room Additions, Garages, Guest Cabins, Skylights, Stair Packages, most Roof Coverings, exterior deck materials, wood finishing materials, and a wide variety of Consumer Options including floor covering, cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and lighting fixtures.

Material Specification Organization. Details of our Standard Material Specifications are provided on the pages that follow. The information is organized by "Wall System". Three of the Systems are offered with common material specifications on all materials other than the wall systems themselves. These include (1) Post & Beam System, (2) PHOENIX SYSTEM Cedar Log and (3) Classic Cedar Log Wall System. The FrameCraft System material specifications are generally different from that of the other three systems.

Sales Tax Outside Washington State. Pan Abode does not collect Sales Tax for out of state sales. Washington State does not have sales tax collection reciprocity with other states.
